What Causes Constant Pressure In Bladder Along With Burning During Urination?

My 18 yr old daughter says it burns when she urinates and she feels as if she has to go to the bathroom all the time and that her bladder is very full but she only goes a tiny bit and it s light pink when she wipes. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but she s been constipated the past few weeks but now she says when she pees a little bit she has a tiny bowel movement each time as well.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is likely that she has an urinary tract infection.

This is an infection of any aspect of the urinary tract- the bladder, urethra, ureter or kidneys.
One or more areas would be involved.

To confirm this, she would need to visit her doctor for an assessment which would include an in office urine analysis.

Treatment requires: (1) copious fluid intake to flush the kidneys and rest of the urinary tract
(2) Antibiotics are needed to treat the infection. She can also add cranberry juice

I hope this helps
