Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi! I m writing because I have been experiencing vertigo for about 10 days now. It s almost constant and nothing in particular seems to make it go away or make it worse. I have suffered from vertigo before (it s usually triggered by flying on an airplane or car rides on winding roads with a lot of elevation changes, and I ve had it due to sinus and ear infections as well) but never has it lasted this long and been this severe. I saw a doctor about 5 weeks ago for heart palpitations and he did an EKG, chest xray and blood tests, and listened to my heart and said everything was normal. He said it was a combination of dehydration and anxiety. I m wondering if perhaps the vertigo and palpitations may be related? Or just looking for some relief from this continual, exhausting vertigo! Thanks.
Treatment for vertigo is a sensation of feeling off balance. If you have these dizzy spells, you might feel like you are spinning or that the world around you is spinning. Vertigo is often caused by an inner ear problem.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
