What Causes Constipation, Sharp Substance In Stool, Stomach Pain When Undergoing Rectocele Repair?
I have a rectocelle and severeve constipation but when I finally do pass my stool,i have sharp substances in it along with long pieces of a paper like consistency and a stringy substance. I also have severe stomache pains and cant eat without taking zofran, I either cant eat at all or will vomit without it. I have serveral cts and colonoscopies. my gyne is doing the repair on my rectocelle but put off because he feels I have a gi issue but gi said no. I also have handfulls if bloody muscous in the days before I move my bowels. help my gyne insists I have ulcerative colitis but the gi said that will all go away after the repair. I have gone round in circles with both specialist and im afraid of having this surgery because if this.

I can understand your concern your main problem is your constipation, for that you have to manage this conservatively and this gives good result, drink more water, have fibber diet, go for defecation every day in fix time even you do not have such reflexes, sit there for half an hours do not apply any force no matter even if you do not pass the stool, no need to apply the force, the hard piece that you have notice could be a fecal material itself commonly seen in constipated patient, hope this information helps you have good day.
