Hi Doc, I have a niece in ICU Hospital in Malaysia. She was admitted 2 weeks ago having seizures and till now still in ICU. The seizures doesn t seem to stop many many times during the day. Specialist here still couldn t find out what is the cause. She was heavily sedated to control her seizures. Hope Doc you can help. Oh, Docs here said what she is having is very, very rare. Thank you
The seizures are basically the excess of neuronal release via various possible means agitating the nerve endings and giving localized or systemic tonic-clonic twitch movements or sometimes general convulsions.
It would be better if you can provide here the MRI plates with attachment to guide further precisely.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
