What Causes Cramps In Lower Pelvic Area And Bleeding Off Period?

I had a tubal ligation on December 15, 2012 and recently I have been having period type cramps while off my period in my lower pelvic area. I am not on my period and I am not on any type of birth control. Also, the last time I had intercourse, I was bleeding, although I was not on my period.

Hi,

You need a speculum examination to visualise inside vagina and cervix to rule out any infection first.
Also a scan will help to rule out uterine causes.
