What Causes Crunching Noise And Pain In Neck And Head?
Hi. I ve recently climbed into bed and accidently hit my head against the wall. I fell into the bed and the wall was a little closer than expected. As I hit my head I heard a crunching noise in my neck and now have quite alot of pain in my neck as well as my head. Can understand the head though. Could you help. Many thanks

Your symptoms could be related to a strained muscle in the neck. But, I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and performing a cervical spine X-ray study. In the meantime, I recommend avoiding abrupt neck movements. Holding a cervical collar can help too.
