What Causes Dark Brown/purple Patches On Testicals And Penis?
hello. i've got discoloured skin on testical and penis. it starts from middle of the testical, the line in the middle of testical, it goes up to the bottom of the penis where it has patch of dark brown/purple then goes up to the shaft of the penis where it has the same dark brown/purple patch. can u please tell me what this is? is there any medication for my testical and penis to turn back to its normal colour?
Such dark colored skin develops usually due to fungal infection. The treatment is as follows: Keep the area aerated Clean with plain water twice daily and keep it dried with air / hair dryer Apply local anti-fungal ointment Oral anti-fungal tablets as advised by the Dermatologist Multivitamins and Therapeutic dose of Vitamin A and D
Get review done by the Dermatologist regularly as this takes a lot of time to get clear And remember, this can be recurrent problem if the atmospheric condition are hot and humid. Get blood sugar done to rule out diabetes, as this is one of the pre-disposing factors.
