What Causes Dark Brown Stuff To Come Out From Ear?

My husband has had problems hearing out of his left ear for about three years. Last visit to the e.r they told him it was infected and prescribed antibiotics. He is constantly having dark brown stuff coming out of his ear. Now today blood is coming out, he is always in consant pain and he cant hear out of his ear. What could be wrong?

As per your complain it seems that your husband is sufferig from chronic ear infection that is leading to discharge from ear along with difficulty in hearing..
Chronic ear infections can also lead to perforation in the tympanic membrane or ear drum and it can lead to loss of hearing too, therefore care should be taken and proper treatment is a must..

As he is advised to take antibiotics it is an appropriate treatment and along with antibiotics he can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and decongestants like Pseudoephadrine and nasal decongestant sprays like Xylometazoline
Avoid picking the ear again and again.
You should also limit water exposure to ear like swimming..
