Age = 49; height = 6 4 ; taking lisinopril for high blood pressure. History of allergies and congestion. For the last 3 years, I have had deafness occur in my left ear whenever the weather gets hot outside (95 degrees or above). Usually lasts until the fall when the weather starts to cool down; am able to start hearing normally out of my ear again.
Consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. An otoscopic examination and audiometry is required to make a diagnosis. Conditions affecting the Eustachian tubes must be ruled out.
