Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife has a blood pressure of 80 over 60....she will see a urologist tomorrow, suggested by the family Dr., who will order an MRI or Ultra sound re: a low blood count, suspecting a leak somewhere. She is very tired, an ophthalmologist discovered a retinal hemorrhage and suspects the cause lies elsewhere...normal BP is 120 over 75 or 80....none of her meds causes this...it is recent....how concerned should we be? She is 50.
I think she needs to get fully evaluated in order to have a better view of her situation. It is not just a blood pressure issue. She needs to do a total blood count and formula, biochemical blood balance and also an abdominal ultrasound.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
