What Causes Delay In Periods And Visible Blue Veins On Chest?
Hi I am 41 my period is 14 days late I did a pregnancy test at 13 days and it was negitive. I have blue veins appearing all over my chest, also have increased cm, very sore back and ovaries on and off. I have been to the doctor and is doing blood tests FSH CBC and one other. Could I be pregnant and its just not showing up yet? as we don t use contraception or is it unlikely as it is now been 14 days since my AF was due.
Blue veins on the chest can occur due to hormonal changes or improper functioning of the vein valves.Hormonal changes can cause increased flow to the breast leading to engorged breast and increased visibility of veins.
Painful inflammation of veins can cause blue veins on the chest. This condition is called Mondor's disease.Excess weight loss or vigorous exercise can also contribute to increased visibility of veins.
The cause of delayed periods should be identified and treated.Laser therapy or Sclerotherapy may be required depending on the cause and symptoms of the patient.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
