What Causes Delay In Withdrawal Bleeding After Taking Abortion Pills ?
Hi i am 3weeks pregnant aand want to get rid of it so i took 400mcg of misoprostol vaginally and 400 orally on monday then i experienced some crampings and spotting and nothing happens. The next day (tuesday) i took 3 dose of 800mcg orally after every 4hours and nothing happens except diarrhea. On wednesday i took 800mcg vaginally and then 400mcg every 3hours and yet nothing happens. Please what should i do?

Understand your concern
Some time misoprostol can cause failure of abortion. It should be used under observation of gynecologist to prevent excessive bleeding and complication.
Cause of failure: improper application, ectopic pregnancy. Wait for bleeding for 48 hour. If not occur, You should consult the gynecologist and do USG scan if pregnancy is there, go for surgical process like suction evacuation to terminate the pregnancy. Hope this may help you
