hello, i can understand your concern. there is a very less chance of pregnancy if the emergency pill levonorgestral 1.5mg is taken as early as possible within 72hrs of the intercourse. but there is always a certain failure rate with emergency contraception(pregnancy can occur even after its usage) delay in periods by two days is quite normal after usage of emergency contraception. i would suggest you to wait for another couple of days , if you do not get your periods still i would suggest a urine pregnancy test done by you. in case the test still comes negative and the periods havent arrived repeat the test the next day and get an ultrasound pelvis done. in case the test is positive and you donot wish to continue the pregnancy kindly consult your doctor for the termination. donot get the tabs from pharmacy and use it on your own. i would suggest usage of combined oral contraceptive pills for you instead of using the emergency pills often. hope i have answered your queries. feel free to ask further queries. thanks for choosing HCM
