What Causes Delayed Menstruation Despite Taking Deviry?
I am 30. I am worried about delayed period. I usually have periods on time. But this time it got delayes by 2 months. Doctor prescribed deviry tablets twice a day for 5 days. I completed the course 5 days ago, but still there are n signs of period. Could you please suggest what can be done...
After taking deviry, it takes almost a week to ten days to get periods. However, if you do not get periods in that time span you should get a urine test or blood test done to confirm that you are not pregnant.
You are suggested to get clinically assessed by a OBGYN. In case it is due to hormonal imbalances or thyroid issues, get all tests done. Get treated at the earliest. Take food rich in iron, calcium, magnesium or its supplements.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
