What Causes Delayed Menstruation Post Intake Of An I-pill?
I have an unprotected sex with my partner ..after ? I took an I - pill within the next 6 hour..after three days I got my periods..and I relifed that am not pregnant ...but this month my period is late..so please answer me whether there is any chance of getting pregnant even after I got my one period after the sex?
There is no chance of getting pregnant as long as you did not have any unprotected sex after getting a normal period post intake of an I-pill. Delayed menstruation could be due emotional stress or physical illness, hormonal imbalance, inadequate diet, change of job, extreme physical activity and diseases of the ovary like polycystic ovarian syndrome, etc.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
