What Causes Delayed Menstruation When Diagnosed With PCOS?

Hi, I am a 20 year old female. I haven t had a period in four months. At home pregnancy tests come back negative. I ve gained about ten pounds within the last month and a half. I had a pinkish discharge for two days, there e been a pressure feeling in my pelvic floor, and I ve been having issues with vaginal dryness. I was diagnosed with PCOS last year and had cysts on my cervix when I went in back in November. I feel like I m broken and just need to know if any of these things seem normal or match up to the symptoms of PCOS.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Weight gain, irregular periods, pressure feeling in pelvic floor, are related to PCOS. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist, to perform a physical examination and laboratory studies, for further treatment.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suela Gjata,
