What Causes Delayed Menstruation When Diagnosed With Hemorraghic Cyst In Left Ovary?

Helo Doctor, I am 28 years old and got married an year before.I am trying to get pregnant. I was on my regular cycle of 29 days.but on the 9th month of my wedded life my periods got postponed to 10 days and on the 10th day got my periods which was quite a disappointment for me.I was then diagnosed to have a small hemorraghic cyst in my left ovary for which I was prescribed with duoluton l - 21 days tablet for 3 months along with Vacfol. I am done with duoluton this month 19th. Today is 27 and I still did not get my periods.I am still continuing to take Vacfol. Is there any chance of me getting pregnant this month?. I wish I could. :(. Please advise. Thanks much!!

Hello and welcome to HCM,
One of the first symptom of pregnancy is absence of menstrual cycle.
If ou are suspecting pregnancy, you can take up urine pregnancy test (UPT).
UPT becomes positive after 10-14 days of conception.
A hemorrhagic cyst in ovary can cause menstrual abnormality.
If the cyst is not not too large enough it may not affect ovulation and thus conception.
Thus, you can take up UPT and wait for the results.
Onset of menstruation rules out pregnancy for all practical purposes.
