Also, it should be followed with ultrasound to measure size. Cyst can be removed laparoscopically and periods may be regulated with estrogen replacement therapy. If there is polcystic syndrome then treatment may be a bit more complex and include long term hormones with progesterone. In every case, it is common condition and you should not be concerned.
