What Causes Delayed Menstruation With Pain In The Ovary?

I am late on my period by two weeks yet have negative pregnancy tests, even the most sensitive. I am having slight pain in my left ovary . It is causing me to have mood swings. I am unsure if this is a cyst as I have not had this experience before. I have no history of cysts but have had random ovary pains throughout my life.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Delayed periods and pain at the site of ovaries with negative pregnancy test needs proper evaluation. First condition which needs tobhe ruled out is ectopic pregnancy.
Hence, kindly get trans-vaginal ultrasound scan (TVS) done to know what could be the status in the pelvic region.
Also get your blood tested for beta-HCG, FSH, LH and Prolactin levels.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for appropriate management in this regard.
Hope the information provided is clear.
All the best.
