What Causes Delayed Menstruation?

Hello Doctor, I have been following up on the follical test and my date of ovulation was 23rd of July.My periods was due on 1st aug.I still have not my periods.I took home pregnancy test which came negative.I am on duphaston 10mg for 10 days.While passing urine i have spottings.do i need to wait to take my pregnancy test again

Hello,

Your period is not coming because you are taking Duphaston which is progesterone-like hormones used to stop period. You have to stop taking this medication and period will come in 7 days after stopping it.
