What Causes Delayed Period, Brown Vaginal Spotting And Vaginal Itching?

I just got off of my period after being late for about 3 months, now I am spotting a brown mucusy type of stuff, and it kinda smells and I have this incredible burning itchy feeling down there, is that maybe because they were scented tampons?. I m also incredibly nauseous and am having pregnancy symptoms.

It can be pregnancy as you have some symptoms like nausea, absence of menstruation for three months. However the itching and brownish spotting suggest some infection in vagina. It is called vaginosis. Majority of time it is fungal infection

I would advise following to you
1 do a pregnancy test and confirm your pregnancy.
2 if it is positive visit your doctor for pregnancy registration and initial assessment of your basic health
3 get an ultrasound scan to study the fetus and its health.
4 vaginal swab testing for microscopic examination to know the cause of spotting and itching.
5 take treatment accordingly (antibiotics for bacterial and antifungal for fungal infections)
