What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Abdominal Bloating?

Hi doctor, I am 43 and have not gotten my period since the my last time (January 2017). It was regular. I was almost certain that I was pregnant but I did 2 tests and both were negative. I have been experiencing stomach queasiness and bloating but nothing else to really talk about (over 2 weeks now). What do you think can be causing this?

Hi, I think you should go for a FSH level. If it is high, then you may be in perimenopausal phase. If normal, it can be due to some stress factor or infection or hormonal imbalances. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries.
