What Causes Delayed Periods While Under Stress?

Hi i had my period last month from the 14th to the 17th (4 days is normal) I had protected sex with my bf the 18 and the 19th. I haven t gotten my period yet. I m stressed. I just got back from Spain on the 18th after 24 hours of travelling, I am working/walking far less here than I was in Spain. My grandpa was just recently taken to the hospital out of no where. I no longer have much of any discharge and I do not want to be pregnant! Please help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think you may be pregnant because you had protected intercourse and he'd it at the last days before your cycle starts. I believe it can be a hormone imbalance. Do a pregnancy home test at least 5days of delayed period.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
