What Causes Delirium And Hallucinations In One With Right Centrum Semiovale Stroke?
I work in an acute rehab facility and have a patient with a right centrum semiovale stroke. she was non-ambulatory prior to the diagnosis. her major symptom was delirium, hallucinations, particularly worms on the walls of her room and in her bed. ?? is that a symptom ?? she also had an ongoing UTI
the patient might be on a medication on anti depression drugs. which might even cause hallucinations to him. you need to control and talk peacefully with the patient. direct the patient to some exercise regimen which will him eleviate his mood for further things. he might cope well and the uti infection can also be avoided. sometimes it's a hand full of touch is needed than always a medication.
