What Causes Depression And Chronic Headaches?

Hi, I'm 65 now and have been on Eltroxin 100 mg for the past 21 years. During that time while the thyroid condition was under control, Sleep was disturbed, depression has set in over the past 6/7 years and head-aches in the front portion of the head over the left eyebrow are a constant. Help !

The dose of Eltroxin needed may change over time. Therefore, you should check your thyroid function again. (Serum T3, T4, TSH). Your physician may advise you to increase (or decrease) the doses of Eltroxin.
Afterwards, if you still have sleep problems, depression and headache, you should see a psychiatrist.
