I m 48 years old. I had chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. My last treatment was 2 years ago. My period stopped during the chemotherapy treatment. I have also been put on tamoxifen. Lately I have been feeling extremely emotional, have had slight nausea and have been putting on weight. I assumed that as I had no period that the chemotherapy and tamoxifen had put me through early menopause and that my baby making days were over. My first question is can I fall pregnant whilst on tamoxifen. And the second question is if I do will a urine pregnancy test be accurate or would I need to get a blood test done?
