What Causes Depression And Suicidal Thoughts During Ovulation Time?
would you be able to help me with the causes of feeling depressed to the point of being suicidal, feeling worthless and paranoid with severe abdominal cramps and panic attacks etc..all of which always occur around my ovulation period...my age is 32, my weight is around 9 1/2 stone and i am 5 ft 5 inch and i have a child of 7yrs
You are 32 years with average weight and average height and have problems of suicidal ideas and symptoms like worthlessness, paranoid ideas, panic attacks, cramps in abdomen etc. As these symptoms are occurring mostly during ovulation period so probably hormonal changes are behind such symptoms. In premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) a lot of females develop such symptoms. Calcium, Vitamin B12 supplementation in most cases result in improvement but if symptoms persist then consultation of a psychiatrist is advised. Medicines like Duloxetine can help to reduce the symptoms exacerbation during ovulation period and will help in normal functioning. Visit a psychiatrist for prescription.
Thanks, hope this helps you. Take Care
