What Causes Depression At The Thought Of Exercise?
Why do I become depressed at the meer thought of exercise? I have a gym membership for over a year, when I get ready to go I break down and cry and stay home. In the passed I ve tried exercise alone at home and after I cry myself to sleep. Isn t exercise suppose to release endorphins and have a positive effect??
Hi, You must have taken the exercise regimes too seriously.there is nothing to worry about.
Rather than going for heavy workouts, try some simple breathing exercises, running for about 2-3 kms a day,and some meditation.
Try to get a good night's sleep ,wake up early in the morning, and go out for a brisk walking or jogging.
Do not keep thinking over your workout schedules and overstress yourself. If these measures fail, consult with a psychiatrist. Take care and do not worry.
