What Causes Depression While On Estrogen Patches?

i think i am suffering a depression with no known precipitant other than beginning an estrogen/progesterone patch 6 weeks ago. at first i felt full and good in the new feelings of breasts and skin. I became depressed suddenly after about a month of patches. Haven t been depressed like that without an obvious occurring that triggered it and not for a long time.

Good day and thank you for posting this question. Yes, the depression is as a result of the estrogens/progesterone you using. I will advice you talk to your doctor and he will prescribe an antidepressant for you to use or better still find an alternative to the Estrogens.
