Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello I m just wondering if it s possible for someone who s had no bad experiences in their life (or at least none that have really impacted them all that much) to have depression. does depression have to be triggered? is feeling guilty because nothing bad has happened to you and you still feel sad and down on yourself something that depression could cause? just wondering.
I am sorry for your situation. To say the diagnosis of depression the symptoms should be last for more than 6 months. If not there are other forms of anxiety disorders. However it would be better for you to speak with your doctor and he or she will decide if they are disorders ora normal behaviour .
Regards
Dr.Jolanda
