ok my mom who is 59, has both types of diabetes, very bad asthma, lungs are gone, on 5 liters of O2 at all times. congestive heart failure and others things as well. Now when she drives like for 30 to 40 minutes straight she is having trouble being able to move. hardly can walk, She is a RN, so no, her legs and feet arent just falling asleep like a DR has told me, I know with the diabetes her nerves can be all messed up and she does have a lot of diabetic nerve pain. this started 3 months ago, and diabetes is so heavy on both sides of her dads family. literally on her wedding day in 1972, my grandfathers mom and dad had legss ammputated in her wedding photos, kinda slim chance both of your parents would have type 1 and 2 diabetes and loose legs the diabetes in our family usually hits late 30s, early 40s and most of the time, both types appear. is this a sign of the first steps of her nerves in her legs going bad
