Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
After I eat anything, I go to the bathroom. Diarrhea. It s usually liquid it poures out. Right after going to the bathroom I am really nauseated and dizzy. This has been going on for years but worse lately. And I have lost 60 pounds in 5 months and I have been unable to maintain my weight. I now weigh 95 pounds I was about 160. I can t eat anything whith out running to the bathroom. I also have been diagnosed as having Spino cerrabellar ataxia when I was 25 years old. Now I am 42 years old. My doctor thought the weight loss may be muscular wasting due to my disease. But she only had 15 min. At my appointment so I did not have time to get into everything. I m not sure if it could be caused from my stomach issues or what. Also I have not had a routine urine or blood done in 5 years I m not sure why but my doctor s have just stopped ordering them . I m going to call and try to scedul a routine blood and urine test. Anyway if you have any insight on what may be going on that would be helpful that would be great. Sincerely, miquette p.S. the weight loss started months ago when I had the flew that was in December now it is June and I m still loosing weight and I have been over the flew since January, but febuary I whent to the hospital and they said it was now bronchitis. That has been gone since April. But I have not been right since I had gotten the flew in December. Thank you for your time in this matter.
It might be an abdominal infection. You need to see a gastroenterologist for work up including blood counts, liver function tests, abdominal ultrasound and may be an endoscopy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
