Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Recurrent Diarrhea, Nausea And Vomiting?
A month ago I had a serious bout of stomach pain with nausea and diarrhea, cramping and fever. The diarrhea has ben on and off with foul smelling and soft stools at times. I am now having nausea after eating. Two days ago I was throwing up again although no fever.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurrent diarrhea, nausea and vomiting which seems to be due to infection by H. Pylori leading to gastroenteritis. It could be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. Need not to worry at all. I would suggest you to ensure you are giving adequate hydration, oral intake and replenishing water to avoid salt losses. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. You should go for complete examination and start treatment after that. Intravenous fluid administration is also recommended. Don't panic. You should give oral rehydration solution. Give combination of antibiotic along with antihistamine medication.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
