What Causes Diarrhea, Nausea, Abdominal Pain And Blood In Urine?

I have had diarrhea and nausea with dizziness for several weeks including pain above my liver and stomach. I am on oxygen. I went to the doctor and they said I have blood in my urine. I do not feel any pain like from an infection or anything of that nature. I have no idea what s going on. I never got any answers about the pain in my abdomen. Any ideas?

Hi,

Noted the history diarrhea, nausea, dizziness for several weeks including pain above liver and stomach, on oxygen, blood in urine on tests by the doctor but no symptoms related to the urinary tract, wants to know the cause of pain above the liver and stomach.

With the short history you have mentioned, this looks to be a case of gastroenteritis and the electrolyte imbalance and dehydration giving dizziness. The cause of the pain can be gastritis or liver infection and inflammation and so on.

I would advise you the following:

- Consult a doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations to get a proper diagnosis and a plan for proper management.

- You will need a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, a PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone, probiotic and as required.
