What Causes Difficult Bowel Movements After Laproscopy?

I had a laparoscopy in 2008, since then I have been unable to use my bowels properly or pass gas. The gas backs up and causes incredible pain. My heart rate has hit 180 from pain. I don't sleep because of the gas waking me up. No one has ever heard of this. I also have no appetite because I don't pass gas and stool correctly

Hello,

For which purpose you undergone laparoscopy? Such a long term problem due to laparoscopy is rare.

Same time you need to check for other possibilities of food Intolerance or bowel obstruction or Irritable Bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel problems et cetera.

Please consult your Gastroenterologist, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
