What Causes Difficulty In Talking After Treating Strep Throat?

I recently got treated for strep throat. After it went away, I had difficulty talking. It would be difficult to say certain words without my throat hurting. My tongue in the back feels swollen. I also haven t been able to sing well either. My throat feels like it is straining or closing.

I have read your query as you have difficulty in talking and feels swolen tongue this can be due to pharyngitis . For this I will suggest you to consult ENT surgeon for clinical examination and evaluation . Inmeantime dowarm saline gargle 2 to 3 times a day .
