Migraine and migraine variants are the largest single cause of
dizziness in children and since you have taken an opinion of ENT Doctor thus
consult a Neurologist and/or visit a Pediatric ENG clinic to exclude:
i. any ear problem [ear infection]
ii. brain disturbances (migraine, tumors)
iii. any Medical Problems
iv. Psychological problems [teenagers seeking to avoid going to school
v. unknown source of symptoms
2. As the dizziness has subsided but not the eyes it do indicate a strong evidence for an organic source of his symptoms and possibly suggests either a central or peripheral source
PS. It should be remembered that dizziness in children has diverse causes so the diagnostic process must distinguish between otologic, central, medical, and psychogenic etiologies for possible line of treatment and management.
