General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It's occur due to IV drugs abuse. The skin become necrotic with underlying muscles wasting. The only treatment is proper rehabilitation from drugs abuse. If there is pus or any fluid in any wound then it need incision and drainage.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shahid Akbar, General & Family Physician
