What Causes Discomfort In The Right Arm While Suffering From Bell S Palsy?

I was diagnosed with Bell s palsy 2 weeks ago. Facial paralysis on my right side slightly better today. But late this afternoon I am having a new issue. My right arm from elbow to hand feels weird. Best I can describe is it feels very sensitive like how it feels when you hit your funny bone except it s the whole area. Hard to ignore this sensation. Took two Advil about an hour after this started. I think it helped slightly.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Bell’s palsy might be due to generalized nerve weakness. A detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause. Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. Steroids might be useful for your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
