What Causes Dizziness And Lightheadedness After Taking Hctz Dose?
I have been on HCTZ for approx 5 years. I have been dizzy and light headed at times. Recently I noticed it more often so today I checked my pulse twice and was bradycardia both times... 53bpm and 55 bpm... My question is ca this be reverse if med is d/c d?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dizziness and lightheadedness after taking Hctz dose. Well the symptoms you mention in query occur due to many reasons but in your case the symptoms are probably due to condition like meniere's disease . Dizziness and lightheadedness can also occur due to side effetcs of Hctz . So consult doctor about it . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like CT scan , hearing test , rotatory chair test and take history to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , antibiotics like gentamycin along with physical therapy and vestibular therapy . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for migraine or gastroenterologist for gastric problem . Fo now avoid bending forward and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
