Several times I have woke up confused dizzy can t stand, visual problems and blood pressure low 55/35, 54/32, 56/38 and numbers so on that low. I almost always wake up choking to find these symptoms. The last event I woke up and did not know where I was. My husband said I was crying confused and kept asking him to take me home. I remember very little. Lasted for a few minutes but I still only remember a few things toward the end, I do not remember wanting to go home... this is something more than my usual confusion. I am 53, female 5 2 154 lbs, I had a total gastrectomy 2/6/2016, I have been treated for High BP for years w HTZT and I am on metropolol for tachycardia and irregular heart beat.
You are having really low and dangerously low values of blood pressure. Possibly you may need to see if you are taking more blood pressure medications than needed. Also remember to keep yourself hydrated and increased salt intake. If you still have problems with it you may need to go to hospital for a total check up.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
