What Causes Dizziness And Low Blood Pressure Levels?

My husband, has been light headed twice this week. He is 76 years old, and has very low blood pressure. He had been working on a carpentry project for about an hour. He was short of breath and light headed; he had to sit down and recover. BP was 86/61, pulse 94. Today he put a new pump in the septic system and was worse. It took him several hours to recover and his BP was 89/63, pulse 88. 2 hours later it is 79/51 pulse 84. Does he need to be seen by a doctor urgently?
