What Causes Dizziness And Severe Fatigue While On Methylprednisolone?

I was prescribed a methylprednisolone dose pack and did not take it correctly. I took 6 all at once on day 1, then 5 on day two, and now on day three discovered error and took 2 and have two remaining today; then the final 2 days. I had dizziness and restless extreme ties at night, and epigastric pain which are all improved right now. Should I just continue as directed on package?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Yes, should continue as directed on the package. Try to be more accurate this time until you finish treatment.

Your other symptoms are not related to methylprednisolone, but to any change of blood pressure (try to monitor) and/ or primary diagnosis you've been prescribed this medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
