What Causes Dizziness And Severe Fatigue?

hello. I m a 56-year-old man. I check my BP every day and recently noticed that my pulse rate is low. It hovers around 50. I exercise, but I m not some super athlete or anything like that, so this seems very low. I feel dizzy sometimes when I get up suddenly, and I have noticed feeling fatigued. Is this an emergency, or is it just something to tell my doctor next time I see him?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

As per my advise there is no need to measure blood pressure daily if you are fit.
May I know what is your average daily blood pressure reading?
Pulse around 50 is bradycardia which may or may not be physiological.

As per your description what I understand is you have low blood pressure symptoms.

However please confirm it by consulting physician.
Right now what you can do is drink water 3-4 liters / day.
And Slightly increase salt content in your daily food.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
