What Causes Dizziness, Lack Of Balance With Pulsing Sound In Ear While On BP Medications?
I have high blood pressure,I m taking 20 mg lysinopryl. I have been experiencing dizziness and being off balance when walking. I also have a pulsing sound near my right ear, sounds like blood flow passing through a vein, like my heart beating. Having problems with insomnia. Any thoughts? Had blood work done about a month ago, all levels were okay except cholesterol was a little high. My doctor recommended staying away from fried foods and eating more greens.
As per your query you have problem of dizziness, lack of balance with pulsing sound in ear while on BP medications . Well there can be many reasons for vertigo , but the most common is anxiety and the other Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) are ear infection , hypoglycemia , anemia , meniere's disease , migraine and alteration in he blood circulation . This can also occur due to side effect of certain medicines like blood pressure medicines and in your case this probably the reason for symptoms . I would suggest you to consult your cardiologist for proper evaluation of the condition . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe the substitute . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist if he/she find problem to be related with ear . For now do not bend forward and drink green tea thrice a day .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
