What Causes Dizziness, Lightheadedness And Nausea While On Lisinopril?

i am taking and have been taking lisinopril 5mg for several years. on my prescription bottle this time around for my refill, is a new manufacturer indicating Tab Sand . the pill is different color and shape. i have never had any problems taking this med, but this time i am feeling dizzy, light headed, a little nausea. was wondering if different manufacturers for the same med can cause physical changes

Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can cause postural drop which can lead to dizziness.

Sometimes different pharmaceutical prepare involving the different base of the tablet which can cause the problem too.

So if you don't feel the problem with the old brand it's better to continue with that or avoid this one even if dizziness persists, after taking it in evenings.
