The problem resolved itself for the first and second episodes but now have residual double vision corrected by prisms in my glasses. but feels like seeing through a fish bowl. What Causes Double Vision While Suffering From Upper Respiratory Infection?
Hello, It is unlikely for the double vision to be associated with upper respiratory tract infection. Double vision can occur due to refractive error, squint, cataract, glaucoma to name few conditions. It is important to have an exact diagnosis to have correct treatment. I suggest you discuss the diagnosis with your ophthalmologist. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
