General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The cause of your pain could be simple things like amoebiasis. However, do a ultrasound scan abdomen to rule out an associated ovarian issue, which is common at your age and presents with gaseous distension. In this time use a probiotic to help the intestinal flora help u out. Your surgery has practically no role in your problem.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
