What Causes Drastic Weight Loss Despite A Normal Blood Work?
Hello Doctors, I m trying to help my twin brother with finding out what s going with him. Over 1 1/2 years ago, he weighed 275 lbs but now weighs about 165 lbs. He s diabetic and is having trouble with his stomach. We ve had aids test and a host of other test on him. No answers. He s continuing to lose weight and has pains which feels like something is crawling on him.

I would suggest you test thyroid hormone levels because hyperthyroidism may cause these symptoms of losing weight. Also, unstabilized diabetes can cause weight loss.
