What Causes Dropped Heart Beats And Shortness Of Breath?
Thank you. I have been experiencing a shortness of breath and dropped heart beats. Inconsistent with 3 regular beats then nothing, then 17 beats then nothing, then 11 beats then nothing and on. My blood press is 140 over 75 and beats per minute 80. Why the dropped heat beats?

such skipped heart beats are due to extra systoles.You should get your ECG done.Depending upon type and frequency of extra systoles you may need further cardiac work up.many a times such extra systoles are benign and don't need any treatment.But there is should be complete evaluation by echocardiography,stress test and Holter monitoring.You may not need all these,treating doctor would guide which one you need,
